Not only this, but Genshin Impact is going to get a Playstation 5 support on the same day. The developers have said that the PS5 edition will have after loading times, support for 4K, and improved textures throughout the game. In every live stream of Genshin Impact, MiYoHo gives codes by which you can redeem up to 300 Primogens for free. They did give away the codes in this live stream too. Moving on to exploring everything we will get with the update, let’s begin with the new additions in the game.
New Features
There is only one new feature added with this update, but it is a huge, huge feature. Yes, we are talking about the housing system. There were so many rumors about this update, and fans were very excited to see if these rumors were true or not. The good news is that they are true. Let’s see what this housing system is all about.
Housing System
The main concept of the housing system is simple; players get to build their own houses and decorate them according to their wish without any limitations. The interesting part is the execution of this system. MiyoHo has developed an entirely new world in the game for you to create your houses. In order to get to that world, your main character must have a tool called Serenita Pot. In order to get the Serenita Pot, you have to work hard and complete a few quests. Once you have the Serenita port, you can use it to travel to a brand new world and start building your dream project. Even after getting the pot, you will have three different choices of realms. Inside every realm, you will find a character called Tubby, and you need to gain his trust in order to get 60 Primogens. Getting his trust isn’t hard, though. You just have to create or buy new furniture for your house. Inside the realm, you can only make purchases for your houses with a special currency called Realm currency. So this was everything about the housing system. Now let’s wait and watch how creative people can get with all the resources provided to them.
New Characters and Weapons.
Thanks to the rumors, we already know the two new characters coming to the game. They are Eula and Yanfei. We will also have a banner of Zhongli, who is a 5-star Geo character. Yanfei is a 4-star Pyro character, and she is expected to appear in Zhongli’s event wish-Gentry of Hermitage. Eula is a rare 5-star character. She is the captain of the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company. You can find out more on Eula and Yanfei right here. The developers are also giving a free character in this update. The game will have a small event; if you complete all the quests of the event, you will get this free character called Diona. Moving on to the new weapons, we will be getting a new 5-star weapon called Claymore. There are 3 new sets of Artifacts too. One of them being a 5-star artifact called Ridge Watch.
New Enemies
With great rewards come great enemies. No, this is not a saying, but this is the case for this update. There are so many things from which players can benefit, but there are also 3 new bosses being added to the game. They are Azhdaha, Abyss Lector, and Cryo Hypostasis. Azhdaha is the Lord of Vishaps, and he is a Trounce Domain opponent. This monster has the ability to change its elements, so beating a tough weekly boss monster like him can give you some epic rewards. Cryo Hypostasis is a Boss enemy, and he is an addition to the Hypostasis series. According to the developers, Cryo Hypostasis isn’t different from other Hypostasis characters. He has unique patterns of attacks which will confuse you a bit, but after defeating it, you will get some great rewards like Character Level-up materials and more. The last new addition is Abyss. Abyss is a lightning character, and he is also one of the main bosses in the game.
Inazuma Region is here?
Well, miHoYo did tease the Inazuma region in the live stream as they showed some images of the new region. Fans are eagerly waiting for this new region as this opens the gate for many new additions like the Geo characters. Inazuma region will be the third major region in the game. Inazuma isn’t coming yet, though. We may see some patch notes with the update about the region, but there is still some time for the region to come into the game.
Genshin Impact 1.5 Update Release Date
The Genshin Impact update 1.5 is set to release on April 28th. So, till then, complete all the quests of the ongoing event in update 1.4 and get set for the next major update of this game.
